Duties and Responsibilities:
Ophthalmologist
are physicians who specialize in treatment of eye disorders and disease. They
treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceutical and
corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery.
Salary:
$90,000-$150,000
Education: Only physicians
may study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist
must then complete a three to five year residency program they must be examination
certified.
Reflection: I do think
that I would want to do this as a career job because it does pay a lot of money
and because I would really be interested in being necessary to do surgery.
